　　這時，當地一對青年男女，聰明勇敢的大尖哥和水社姐，決心為人世間找回太陽和月亮。可是怎樣才能殺死惡龍呢?大尖哥和水社姐悄悄地鉆進惡龍居住的巖洞里，從惡龍的談話中偷聽到他們最怕埋在阿里山底下的金斧頭和金剪刀。

　　大尖哥和水社姐歷盡艱險，頂風冒雨，跋山涉水，終于來到阿里山下，從山底下挖出了金斧頭和金剪刀。然后他們又回到大潭邊，恰好兩條惡龍正在潭里玩耍太陽和月亮，大尖哥跳下潭去，揮起金斧頭，把惡龍砍得滿頭是血，遍體鱗傷，水社姐看準時機，用金剪刀剪斷了惡龍的肚子。
