　　花戲樓座落在安徽亳州城北，渦水從其旁流過。為亳州一大名勝古跡，也是國家一級文物保護單位。花戲樓原名大關帝廟，亦稱山陜會館，由于戲樓磚雕、木雕彩繪地方戲曲折子戲為主要內容，所以俗稱花戲樓。花戲樓建于清順治十三年(公元1656年)，為山西藥材商人籌資興建，乾隆五年(公元1740年)重建，乾隆四十九年(公元1784年)對大關帝廟重修一次。

　　大門為三層牌坊架式，仿木結構，水磨磚墻上鑲滿磚雕，雕有人物、車馬、城池、山林、花卉、禽獸，琳瑯滿目。左右為鐘、鼓二樓，門前列石獅、鐵旗桿，桿高數丈，重15噸，上有懸鐘、蟠龍、飛鳳。戲樓內裝大木透雕和彩繪，內容為三國戲文十八出，配飾垂蓮、懸獅、鰲魚、藻井圖案;雕刻玲瓏剔透，彩繪堂皇絢麗。有上下場門四。屏風透雕二龍戲珠。
