　　黔靈公園是國家aaaa級旅游區，位于貴陽市中心區西北，公園南接棗山路，東近八鴿巖路，東北有市北路，北至關刀巖、小關水庫，西連長坡嶺林場、七沖嶺、三橋村及圣泉。距市中心1.5公里，面積426公頃，是國內為數不多的大型綜合性城市公園之一。以明山、秀水、幽林、古寺、圣泉、靈猴而聞名遐邇。公園建于1957年，園內峰巒疊翠，古木參天，林木蔥籠，古洞清澗，深谷幽潭，景致清遠，自古是貴州高原一顆璀璨的明珠，有“黔南第一山”的美譽。

　　由于黔靈山一帶因其大氣候背景處于高原地帶，所以黔靈山的.氣候條件是相當一致的，具有與典型中亞熱帶地區有所不同的高原亞熱帶氣候特征。冬無嚴寒、夏無酷暑、熱量充沛、生長期長，年均溫15.3℃，一月均溫4.9℃，最高氣溫33-34℃，最低氣溫4―5℃，無霜期270天。

　　黔靈公園集山、林、泉、湖、洞、寺、動物于一體，清絕于世。有“貴在城中，美在自然”之稱。

　　黔靈山屬黔中山原中部的一部分，園區山嶺連綿、谷地相間，地形富于變化。海拔在1100米-1396米之間，地形各有起伏，相對高差不大，約200米左右。山體有：白象嶺、八角巖、大羅嶺、象王山、七沖嶺、檀山、杖缽山。其中大羅嶺海拔高1396米，是園內及貴陽中心區西北第一高峰。

　　黔靈山地區由于地質構造復雜，在不大的范圍內出露較多的地層，包括二疊系下統茅口組;上統吳家坪組、長興組，三疊系下統大冶組、安順組，中統貴陽組及上統三橋組、二橋組和侏羅系中下統自流井群。

　　1944年4月，經我國著名地質學家李四光考察，黔靈山弘福寺寺址屬于第四紀冰川遺跡“冰窯”。

　　Today we are visiting Qianling mountain. As we all know, Guiyang is a placewhere people are outstanding. It is said that an old monk came to Guiyang andfound that a large amount of aura of heaven and earth gathered on a certainmountain in Guiyang. So the old monk came here and planted a pine tree. As aresult, the pine tree actually survived with luxuriant branches and leaves,which proves the old monk's words The old monk is the famous monk Chisong. So hebuilt a temple here, called "Hongfu Temple", which means to carry forwardBuddhism and benefit the world. 　　Dear tourists, the Qianling mountain park we visited today is a large-scalecomprehensive park in Guiyang City, known as "the first mountain in SouthernGuizhou". It is said that in the 20__ year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty(1672 A.D.), monk Chisong, the founder of Hongfu temple, planted ancient pinesupside down on the mountain and survived. Therefore, it got its name, whichmeans "it must be a place of outstanding people to gather the spirit ofGuizhou.". Qianling Park integrates mountain, water, forest, cave, spring,temple and monkey. It is a famous urban forest park in China. It mainly includesHongfu temple, Guanzhu Pavilion, Qianling Lake, zoo, Qilin cave and other scenicspots. The whole temple sits in the West and faceseast. The whole layout is like a character. There aremore than ten jade Buddhas, all of which are invited by Honghui, a Chinese monkand Nun, from Yangon, Myanmar.
