The other reason is that traditions may be the last things that make one culture distinct from the others especially when the world is widely globalized. Therefore, traditions should never be discarded. In the highly-materialized society, the pursuit of spiritual nutrition would be extremely valuable. As Yu Guangzhong once wrote: “Traditional culture is an aspiration, also an ideal, which makes you stand out from the ordinary.”
