Great changes haven taken place in our studies since our school began to carry on exploring learning strategies. In the past, teachers kept on explaining the language points in class. We students just listened and took some notes. So we didn’t have enough time to think about problems by ourselves. We had to do much homework after class.
But now teachers show the problems to us first, then we discuss them for a while in pairs or groups. We try to find out the ways of solving problems, through which we’ve learnt how to cooperate with others. After class, we can have different activities. For example, we can read books we like, go to the library or use the Internet for useful information and so on.
In a word, exploring learning strategies is very good for us. Now we are the owners of our study and we’re happy.
