　　Question1: 你們專業應該大部分都選擇繼續讀研究生或者出國，你為何選擇了直接工作？Barron: 其實當時也糾結了很久，我從入校開始就抱著去美國讀生物醫學專業研究生的準備，當時也在備考GRE和托福。但是2年讀下來，我發現自己對這個專業還是沒有特別大的興趣，因為我們專業很多東西涉及編程，電路元件，可我發現自己還是很難耐下性子坐下來去研究，所以其實大學專業課學的很suffer，感覺沒有興趣。所以那時候就在想既然這個專業我不喜歡，為什么還要花錢花時間去讀一個自己不喜歡的專業，雖然大多數人可能指望研究生的文憑找個好工作，但我感覺可能那是在逃避吧。還有一點是因為從小到大讀了20年書，但一點工作經驗都沒有，我壓根不知道工作是一種什么樣的狀態，所以我特別希望去體會一下真實的工作狀態，就算讀書也可以工作一段時間再去深造，工作之后你會更加清楚自己還缺哪些能力，于是可以有針對性的去學，這樣比直接盲目的讀研究生要更合適。

　　Question2: 你對當時找到GE的工作滿意嗎？拿到這個Offer前期有什么特別的準備嗎？

　　Barron: 本科畢業能直接來GE對我而言是很滿意的，GE的平臺和它的培訓機制可以讓年輕人很快的得到成長，這兒的人以及這兒的文化真的是Top級的，你能學到很多很多東西。當時為了找工作準備了很多東西，其中觸動最大的還是當時申請GE的銷售暑期實習生被拒后，發現自己還有太多商業知識的東西需要加強。于是在11年暑假進行了惡補，當時花了兩個月啃下了兩本原版的教科書Strategic Management和Marketing Management，兩本書加起來差不多20__多頁，當時看完后有一種豁然開朗的感覺，它使得你對商業世界，對公司運營和管理有了一個清晰的認識，特別對于學生而言，這種知識讓你在以后的面試過程中感到自信。當然在準備簡歷上也花了很多時間，我當時專門拿麥肯錫和波士頓咨詢作為目標，就是為了給自己一個高標準，因為它們的面試和簡歷篩選絕對是最難的，我還特意從沈陽跑到北大參加了波士頓咨詢在北大的宣講會，目的就是見識一下所謂的牛人們，北大去聽宣講的也都是光華管理學院和MBA的人，所以這段經歷讓我在以后的面試中感到更加放松，因為你已經見識過了最厲害的這幫同齡人，當然麥肯錫和波士頓是果斷的拒掉了我，但是這段準備過程在后面GE的面試中起到了關鍵作用，所以充分的專業知識和簡歷的`準備是找到好公司工作必不可少的。

　　Question3: 你是學工科的，但你工作很多工作是涉及到經濟分析，營銷管理的這些商業內容，你怎么在短時間內在工作中上手？

　　Barron: 我覺得大學教會一個人最重要的是You learned how to learn. 持續的自學能力絕對是工作中最重要的能力之一，我在GE的第一個崗位天天做宏觀經濟分析的工作，沒錯我本科不是經濟學，但是我本科涉獵過經濟學的書，覺得也挺有意思，于是來GE工作后的一周內，我直接花了1500個大洋買了本最新版的曼昆的原版經濟學原理，當時每天都會看。大概花了不到一個月的時間把那本書讀完了，后來我工作的時候也會經常去涉獵投行的一些經濟報告，這種知識和感覺慢慢就積累起來了，3到4個月后吧我老板在宏觀經濟分析這塊兒就完全丟給我來做了。GE的首席經濟學家也會找我這邊幫忙做一些中國經濟現狀和趨勢的分析，我給他做的報告也不錯。所以我覺得本科學的什么并不重要，重要的是你是否學會了一種學習能力，以及你是否有欲望去學習新的知識。
